Summary/Abstract: The material forms the essence of a design and its function; The result affects the usage process, taste, preference, availability, cost and the future of the world. In addition to the physical, chemical and mechanical properties that the material will provide, it should be known that the strength or weaknesses of the acoustic and insulation should be determined with a professional approach in the decision-making process, together with the controllability, structural properties, technology applicability and sizing, the way they are available in the market, aesthetics and fashion elements as elements of taste. However, there are some materials that have been used in many different fields since the first human being, they are easily found, easily processed, evaluated in different ways and are subject to a fashion beyond their sustainability. Stone and wood are the main ones of these materials. In this study, wood material, which can be used with different qualities, is discussed. It is aimed to draw attention to the awareness of being able to respond to more than one need with one material, without disturbing the nature, by emphasizing the diversity of use and availability, with the awareness that the multifunctional properties of materials affect their sustainability.
