Summary/Abstract: The works of Ahmad Yasawi, one of the prominent figures of the Turkic literary thought and cultural history are important in many aspects. With his work Divan-i Hikmet, he created the first example of the Turkic Tasawwuf literature, and continued Sufism based on Islam in Turkic environment. He founded a new order, and was known as a saint in the history. In Divan-i Hikmet, the concepts of the Creator – the world – human being are presented according to the Tasawwuf philosophy and the human thought. It essentially serves to the solution of the problem of perfect human and self-perception. The second point that draws attention in the work is the form of expression and the linguistic aspect of all the thoughts, ideas and views. Both aspects, the position of Tasawwuf philosophy and Islamic mysticism in the Turkic thought system and its expression in the Turkic language are looked through.
