Summary/Abstract: In this article have been briefly referred some particulars on the initiative for the researches of the traditional culture heritage of Bunjevci from the coast, on the first field recognitions and on the initiated researches. The author refers also to her earlier and present-day researches not only of this group, but also of some other branches of Bunjevci. Beside gradual gathering of the materials about the traditional heritage of Bunjevci from the coast, the aim of the research covered by this project was also the establishment of circumstances of the ethno-regional identity of this Croatian community as well as the comparative research with the other branches of Bunjevci.
