Summary/Abstract: The study presents the use of cluster analysis using the Ward method to illustrate the conditions offered for small and medium enterprises in individual Polish voivodeships. The study used data from the Central Statistical Office. Using the hierarchical agglomeration procedures, the voivodeships were grouped into homogeneous classes due to the variables characterizing the environment that the voivodeship creates for small and medium enterprises. A ranking in terms of attractiveness for business was also created.
