Summary/Abstract: Over a hundred fragments of clay oil lamps from the Roman period were discovered in the foundations of five buildings dating from the middle to late imperial periods, during rescue excavations from 2017 to 2019 carried out at a Roman-period site in Ajdovščina (Fluvio Frigido/Castra). This presentation concentrates on a fragment of lamp with decoration on the discus, interpreted as a tabernacle flanked by two columns topped with human busts or the tomb of Lazarus flanked by two columns topped with human busts.
