Summary/Abstract: Although the coronavirus pandemic has shown the dramatic failure of current public education policies, this paper illustrates the results of an online focus group with sophomores in Primary and Preschool Pedagogy that online education can be a viable alternative to traditional / face-to-face education only if teachers make certain reconfigurations in the teaching-learning-evaluation activity and in online educational communication, and the teacher-student relationship is imbued by goodwill and mutual care.
