Summary/Abstract: The article considers features of glassware production (jewelry at the first place) relying on archeological materials from glassmaking workshops from the 12th – the first half of 13th centuries in trade-handicraft district of Kyiv. The problem of local glassmaking production existence is generally considered, basing on morphological, chemical and technological aspects.
