Summary/Abstract: The end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century went down in the history of parenthood as a turning point in the perception of the role of the father in raising his son by psychologists. The aim of this article is to raise the issue of the father-son dyad, to present the evolution of the father-son dyad over the centuries, to show the role of communication between father and son in the process of raising a child.
