Summary/Abstract: The paper contains the analysis of the events during 1990s and 2000s, it compares the policies of the regimes before and after the 5. October, primarily in the spheres of national and foreign policy. How did the most relevant political events of those years affect our country, and how did the government react, how did the decisions of those regimes affect the future development of the state. Does 5. of October mean the same thing today as it did 20 years ago, are the goals of the Democratic opposition of Serbia fulfilled?
