Summary/Abstract: The present study seeks to examine the impact of agricultural activities on economic growth over a period from 1990 to 2018 in Slovenia. The study uses ARDL approach of co-integration and ECM technique to examine the presence of equilibrium relationship in the long-run along with the short-run dynamics. Thus, macro-economic variables such as economic growth, agricultural production, fertiliser consumption, agricultural land and women employment in agriculture are considered. It is found that the variables become stationary after first differences and also integrated of same order. The long-run equilibrium association is observed when GDP is the dependent variable and the elasticity of agricultural production, fertiliser consumption and women employment in agriculture is positive and statistically significant for economic development in the short-run.
