The first presents the definition problems regarding self-employment, theoretical foundations and the subject of the analysis, an outline of the methodology and features of the examined communities. The analysis concerns the values and needs associated with work, determining the degree of their mapping in the work performed, and then the factors determining the chances of success of the business ventureIn order to obtain an image of structuralization of a comprehensive set of the valued aspects of work, principal component analysis (PCA) was applied.
