Summary/Abstract: The aim of research was to analyse the digital exclusion, describe the forms of information support for seniors and diagnose the needs of older people in terms of access to information using digital technologies. Material and methods. Literature review, questionnaire method. Results. In the study group digital exclusion was observed. Digital exclusion is a type of social exclusion and can lead to lower well-being among seniors. Most often, seniors look for the necessary information among people from immediate surroundings. The most needed information relates to healthcare services. The most effective form of obtaining information is direct contact. In senior’s opinion the most serious obstacle in obtaining the necessary information are inappropriate channels and forms of information transfer by institutions. Conclusions. There are many forms of information support for seniors. Described solutions are more effective if implemented at the state level. Reducing the digital exclusion of seniors should be one of the priorities of social policy.
