Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on the epistemological paradox of the search for truth as correspondence to or with reality in the context of the bullshit phenomenon. It is divided into three parts. In the first, it introduces the term bullshit as an established philosophical concept; in the second part, it describes the plot of the Sputnik V Case in Slovakia; finally, it clarifies the Sputnik V Case-based bullshit in media content. The media image of this plot seems to be an example not only for the concept of a scandal, excess, etc. of the state, but also for the bullshit at the level of state power, which ultimately results in disinformation of the public. Methodologically, it is a case study, therefore it has a descriptive and not analytical nature; it aims to prepare the basis for the research of responsibilities and excuses in media arena.
