Summary/Abstract: The article presents some possible scenarios for the agriculture and rural areas development policy in Poland. The discussion on this issue could be linked with more and more popular possibility of taking-over part of agriculture policy functions and the financial burden of agriculture policy maintenance by every European Union country – being the renationalisation object.
