The local computer network of the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” National Library is now high-speed

Summary/Abstract: The author raises the issue of the biggest challenge for the digitalization in Bulgaria and abroad. The amount of information that needs to be stored in formats appropriate to the needs of librarians and readers is enormous. He shares his experience in the development and implementation of high-speed local computer network of the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” National Library by a team from the Bulgarian company RTS (RTS BG Ltd.), which is a leader in the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector.
