Summary/Abstract: Teaching according to the encyclopedic definition is a planned teacher’s work with students, enabling them to acquire messages, skills, habits and develop their personality. It is also the management of the learning process. This definition emphasizes the necessary interaction of the teacher with students and draws attention to the multidimensionality of the effects that should be achieved during a properly conducted education process. Nowadays, traditional methods are very often not so interesting and effective for students and they can not interest them and can not relate information resulting from their own experiences. The article presents three selected interactive didactic methods: problem-based learning, portfolio creation, mind map with discussing their methodology and giving advantages and potential limitations. Author’s own observations based on conducting classes using elements of interactive teaching methods were also given. These methods can be successfully used in everyday didactic work with students of most fields.
