Summary/Abstract: The Fathers of the Church, apart from problems of a doctrinal nature, sometimes expressed their opinions on homosexual acts. They did not devote entire works to the subject, rather their views are heard as occasional voices, which does not mean that the problem did not exist or was ignored in the early Christian Church. The evaluation of homosexual acts most frequently appears in patristic literature in the context of commentary on those few biblical texts which mention such behaviors, and as such the view was always negative. Moreover, this subject occasionally occurs in monastic rules, in which homosexuality was unequivocally condemned. The present paper analyses these texts of the early Christian writers, of both the Eastern and Western Churches, which offer moral evaluations of homosexual acts.
