The Year 1989 As Seen by Historians

Summary/Abstract: To mark the 25th anniversary of the collapse of the communist regime in the former Czechoslovakia and other countries in Central and Eastern Europe, the editorial board of PaD decided to ask historians who deal with this topic to answer the question of which factors, in their opinion, had most contributed to the fall of the communist regimes in Central Europe. Here are some of their answers.
