A music aspect of the education of the pre-school education teachers

Summary/Abstract: The author raises the issue of the education of the prospective pre-school education teachers. She emphasizes the fact that the candidates lack a proper music training. Thus, she suggests teaching students music rather than methodology. It is difficult to cover all the necessary music competences within a short period of studies. Also, she highlights the importance of a practical aspect of music education of teachers to be in terms of a demanding work with children.
