Summary/Abstract: Based on a series of theoretical formulations and numerous empirical studies, this article discusses the crucial role of the organization’s human resources for achieving corporate social responsibility. In socio-psychological terms, the motives of the employees to expect / require the organization to engage in corporate social responsibility are explored. A model of the interaction between human resources and corporate social responsibility is presented.
