Summary/Abstract: Further to the work carried out by the Constitutional Court, nine decisions (exceptions/objections of unconstitutionality admitted) were published in May regarding: The Code of Criminal Procedure, GEO no. 158/2005 on holidays and social health insurance benefits; Decision of the Chamber of Deputies no. 15/2021 amending the Rules of Procedure of the Chamber of Deputies; Law amending and supplementing art. 435 of the Fiscal Code; Law no. 80/1995 on the status of military personnel; Law on some temporary measures regarding the admission contest to the National Institute of Magistracy, the initial professional training of judges and prosecutors, the graduation exam of the National Institute of Magistracy, the internship and capacity exam of trainee judges and prosecutors, as well as the admission contest in the judiciary; Law no. 165/2013 regarding the measures for finalizing the process of restitution, in kind or by equivalent, of the buildings abusively taken over during the communist regime in Romania, amended by Law no. 219/2020 for the amendment and completion of Law no. 165/2013; Competition Law no. 21/1996.
