Summary/Abstract: The article presents a multidimensional analysis of compliance, using Burt matrix, which allows to detect relationships between categories of the dependent and independent characteristics. The surveys use often boundary analysis using two-dimensional contingency tables to detect relationships between pairs off characteristics. The analysis of compatibility addresses one of the most difficult tasks — allows to diagnose the accurate structure of responses, expressed by occurrence frequency of characteristics categories measured on a nominal scale. The presented method is illustrated on the survey example of students at the Zachodniopomorski University of Technology in Szczecin on the perception of changes in the functioning of the university (the merged Technical University and the Agricultural Academy in Szczecin). Source of data in the study was a survey, published on the websites of each university departments. It included questions about both the characteristics of a person, as well as its assessment of the institution, in areas such as: teaching, support for the Dean's Office and central university administration, universities rank, software offer, the chances of finding work for graduates, and the atmosphere at the university. The value of this paper is to demonstrate the usefulness of the analysis of compliance in a complex survey.
