Summary/Abstract: The article is based on years of regional research conducted by the authors. The paper presents results of regional convergence using Markov analysis. The paper is of theoretical and empirical nature. It presents theoretical aspects related to the use of Markov analysis. This method was used in the empirical part to provide a dynamic analysis of regional (NUTS 3) level in the period 1999 to 2008 according to GDP per capita.
