Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the influence of a continuous act, as described in Article 12 § 1 of the Polish Criminal Code, on the carousel frauds. The primary claim is all the behavior constituting a carousel fraud should be treated as one, complex, multifaceted continuous act. In particular, fraud and money laundering (consisting of providing money for the purchase of goods by the subjects participating in the carousel fraud) need to be considered as one continuous act, not two as it is done in the case-law.
