Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was the qualitative analysis of mother's of child with ASD experience with received and expected support. A structured interview was used in the study. The obtained results give a picture of a woman, alone and overwhelmed with duties, feeling lacking sufficient parental competences. This calls for the development of differentiated forms of support for parents of children with ASD, e. g. support groups, individual consultations with specialists, workshops to develop parental competences. It is also important to provide information support to wider family and to create social campaigns that bring this issue closer to society.
