Summary/Abstract: One of the main problems of vocational education is to adapt school education to the changing needs of the labour market. This article characterizes the current Polish system for training personnel for the needs of the hospitality industry as well as presents employers’ expectations in that respect. The article constitutes the result of literature studies and an analysis of available secondary data on the analysed issue.
