Summary/Abstract: This study aims to analyze the extent of cooperation between the Turk and German sides in Iran during the First World War. The main focus of the study is on how the parties' expectations for war affect the joint operation in Iran. In this context, the study is looking for answers to two important questions. First, which side has taken more control of the joint action against Iran. Second, which side's actions led to the end of the joint operation in Iran. While seeking answers to these two questions, the study benefited from the views of some of the prominent names in the conduct of joint operation on behalf of the parties. The study analyzed the views of these names and supporting these views with the release of archives material, tried to find out what kind of problems have occurred in the emergence and implementation of the joint operation. Moreover, a general assessment of the effectiveness of the joint action in the conclusion part of the study has sought to bring the issue to an end.
