Summary/Abstract: The 1687 rebellion is a typical example of the hooded uprisings. The starting point and ending of the event is similar to the previous uprisings. The events that started when the army in action, especially Suleyman Pasha took action towards İstanbul because of the discontent of the initiatives, did not end despite the change of throne. Rebels rebelled after Suleyman II the ascended the throne and for a long time abolished security in the capital. On the other hand, one of the tradesmen wrapped a piece of cloth on the stick and gathered it around the people against the rebels, wich changed the course of the uprising.
