Summary/Abstract: innovations are fundamentally transforming the labor market worldwide, and professional training is the tool to ensure equal access to the labor market. For several years, we have been witnessing a process of a profound transformation of the socio-economic system generated by new technologies, an aspect that has led to new occupations, new needs, and aspirations, questioning human potential. The opinion of traditionalists is that the process of transforming the labor market, also called the Industrial Revolution 4.0, could have as consequences mass unemployment, professionalism and skills issues, problems between labor supply and demand. Our view is that the emergence of new technologies should not be seen as a competitor to human activity or a threat, but as a way to support conscious and operational human manifestations, as an opportunity to facilitate the activity, and as a vector for job transformation. Thereby, through this approach we will make brief references to the most important step in this transition process to new ways of looking at work: professional training. At the same time, we will present how new technologies can be a real support in a forensic identification activity, taking into account the fact that, at an international level, the technical means imposed by technological evolution have proved their usefulness and recognized their advantages in criminal proceedings.
