Summary/Abstract: Delia Cursan attempts to trace the literary and biographical connection existing between the organic structure of Orbitor and the real-life struggle of the writer, rendered in Cărtărescu's Diary. She takes a trip into the dark territories of animality, basic corporeality and dejection, producing an oxymoronic view of the liteary butterfly's flight.
