Summary/Abstract: Although it takes consistent information from ancient geographic documents – especially from Strabo's and Ptolemy's Geographies, respectively, from the Peutingerian Tabula – Geography of Anonymous in Ravenna, from the end of the 7th century, it is not a simple compilation, but a thorough adaptation to its age. The information about Dacia in this paper is likely to provide some interesting details regarding the status of the province in the so-called silent Middle Ages.
