Summary/Abstract: This research is a compilation study conducted to determine the effect of performance evaluation on job satisfaction. In this context, the concepts of performance evaluation and job satisfaction were discussed and the interaction between performance evaluation and job satisfaction was examined based on a literature review. With the performance evaluation, it is determined to what extent the human resources reach the requirements of the roles defined by their institutions and managers. While the reward, wage and promotion achieved by the human resources as a result of their successful work are determined by performance evaluation, whether the human resources reach their wishes is determined by measuring the level of job satisfaction. Thus, while the human resources gain information about the work they have carried out, the institution gains information about the extent to which the human resources fulfill their assigned duties, to what extent the qualifications and competencies of the human resources are reflected in the given job, and the level of their performance. As a result, coordination between the goals of the institution and the performance of the human resources is achieved by making healthy decisions about rewarding, promoting, increasing and appreciating the human resources and determining the need for in-service training.
