Summary/Abstract: The paper aims to observe Sera di Gavinana, poem of Vincenzo Cardarelli, as a text source of interference and inspiration to the contemporary author Francesco Guccini. The paper analyses these relations between Sera di Gavinana and some lyrics of Francesco Guccini’s songs, in which the description of the environments of the tosco-emiliano Apennines, caught in the passage between light and darkness, is described. Even if Guccini himself never explicitly mentioned neither Cardarelli nor his poems as a source of inspiration, the overlaps between the Sera di Gavinana and Guccini's texts go far beyond the thematic aspects and they also concern the formal and stylistic modalities, as well as the sources of inspiration.
