Fasil and Vasil in the Interpretation of the Quran

Summary/Abstract: Arabic language and eloquence are the most important factors in the correct understanding and interpretation of the Qur’an. The Qur’an, which descends with a clear Arabic language, contains the most important and fascist uses of this language. It is not possible to understand a book whose language and uses are unknown. For this reason, in order to understand and interpret the Qur’an correctly, many studies are devoted to Arabic language and eloquence. In this study, it will be examined the subject of “Fasil” and “Vasil” under the title of “Maany" of eloquence in terms of its effect on the interpretation of the Qur’an. “Fasil” and “Vasil”, which discuss the relation between successive sentences, reveals in which cases these sentences should be separated, in which cases should be brought together and the reasons for them. It is extremely important for the interpretation of the Qur’an in terms of expressing what meanings emerge on them.
