Summary/Abstract: The article is about evaluation of the archaeological evidence from an archaeological excavation which took place on the road section Jesničánky-Medlešice. The archaeological material indicates evidence of a settlement from the Late Roman and Migration period in eastern Bohemia. Even though there were found ceramic fragments and daub, with the prints of architectural features on it, in the objects fills, the object spatial patterning doesn’t allow us to reconstruct the settlement, and we can just assume that the pottery fragments from the Roman period were probably found in a secondary position in the objects.
