Summary/Abstract: Following text describes shield fittings dated to the Roman period which were discovered in the Eastern Bohemia. Despite low quantity of the artifacts, their typological variety is remarkable. Whole assemblage can be dated to the Marcomannic Wars Period and the subsequent C1 period. Shield bosses are represented by types Jahn 7a (Nepolisy), Zieling B1b (Plotiště nad Labem), Jahn 8 (Town museum and gallery in Hlinsko), Zieling S2 and S4 (Sendražice). Assemblage is complemented with shield handle fittings types Jahn 9 (Nepolisy), Zieling V1 and transitional type (Sendražice).
