Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with a marginal phenomenon of early medieval Germanic material culture, which are biconical with a comb decorated vessels that occur on the eastern periphery of the Frankish Empire in the first half of the 7th century. Most attention is given to a single specimen found in the Czech Republic that comes from Cetnov (Zettendorf), dist. of Cheb.
