Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article are results of archaeozoological analysis of the osteological material from Obříství site. Animal remains came from settlement neolithic features dated in the Stroked Pottery culture. The analysis revealed representatives domestic fauna with dominant position of cattle and superiority of pig over small ruminant and also representatives wild species. Hunted species represented significant bones of eurasian beaver. Except for mammals was confirmed also european pond turtle. There were founded several artefacts made from bones of medium or large mammals in objects. The analysis of animal remains from archaeological objects is an important contribution to the reconstruction the way of life of neolithic community, for which was main activity cattle farming implemented in harmony with local natural conditions.
