Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the study is to investigate the views of parents whose child was attending to a preschool education institution regarding creative drama. In this purpose, qualitative research method was used. Snowball sampling method was used in the research and total 31 parents, 18 mothers and 13 fathers, were interviewed. The data of the study was collected by means of “Parent View Form Regarding Creative Drama”. The interview form was made up of such questions as knowing about drama, the effects of drama on children, drama works made in the schools of their children, the involvement status in the drama activities applied at school, the status of giving place to drama works at home, the status of whether being willing or unwilling to have creative drama education. The data obtained at the end of the interviews was analysed through content analysis method. Content analysis contains the analysis of the data obtained at a determined framework, offering it to the reader with direct quotations and commenting. In this sense, it was found that the parents included in the study related creative drama mostly with theatre, improvisation, animation and game. It was also determined that majority of the parents did not know about the creative drama works in the schools of their children and that they did not involve the drama activities realized at schools. It is likely to recommend that teachers inform parents about the creative drama works in their classes and that they give more place to the creative drama use in family involvement works.
