Personal Archival Collections in the Screen Arts Archive in the context of public film archives in Bulgaria: Problems and Opportunities for its conservation

Summary/Abstract: Over the last fifteen years, access to archives has changed and so has the ways they are used and the methodology of organization and systematization. The main catalyst for these changes is the rapid development of technology, digitalization, as well as free and easy access to the Internet. This text attempts to analyse the current state of film archives in Bulgaria and also provides possible solutions to some of the issues raised.
