Summary/Abstract: After presenting a few examples from language textbooks in which we can see how schools teach language in a stereotypical way, this „Nadgramatika“ recommendation features Stanislav Vinaver’s view on our language and its melodies. It goes to demonstrate how the language itself can provide a way to overcome these assigned norms and matrices. The practice of slow reading, rule-by-rule and element-by-element, clearly reflects the inadequacy of language teaching in the present-day textbooks. It is by using the work of François Rabelais that Vinaver tries to show how the nature of the profession and the need for expression urges the author to express himself in a sexual way, using vulgarisms, which are, according to our language teachers, to be avoided at all costs. The conclusion is that the book can serve as a warning of sorts, against the grammatical hastiness which strives to interpret everything in a clear and formulaic fashion, as if language were a clear and rational, concrete and useful concept to be easily disintegrated.
