Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on a deserted village known as “Žák”, which is situted in Klánovice forest. The findings are based on non-destructive archaeological methods and analysis of analogies of so far surveyed villages. A critical revision of previous modest pieces of knowledge and an analysis of written sources were made. More importantly, a geodetic-topographical survey of the village relicts was carried out. It was possible to obtain a detailed drawing to restore the resident form and to adumbrate the appearance of yards of particular estates.
