Summary/Abstract: Purpose – The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between life satisfaction, performance, perceived organizational support and organizational cynicism, to determine the effect of life satisfaction of individuals on their performance and to reveal the mediating role of organizational cynicism and perceived organizational support in this effect. Design/methodology/approach – In the study, the questionnaire technique was used to obtain the data and Life Satisfaction Scale, Organizational Cynicism Scale, Job performance scale, Perceived Organizational Support Scale were applied to 225 employees of an institution in the food sector. The data obtained were statistically analyzed with the help of SPSS for Windows 22.00 program and AMOS 24.0 program. Confirmatory factor analysis was applied for the scales and Cronbach's Alpha values, which are the reliability coefficients, were calculated. After the measurement model factor analysis, the mediator model path analysis was applied with implicit variables, and the research hypotheses were tested. Findings – The results indicate that life satisfaction has a positive significant relation to both perceived organizational support and performance, and it has a negative significant relation to all dimensions of organizational cynicism, and all dimensions “cognitive, affective, behavioral of organizational cynicism” have a significant negative effect on performance. It is also shown that all dimensions of organizational cynicism act as a partial mediators. Discussion – The success of organizations is related to their employees' attitudes towards life, work and the organization. In this context, the relationship between life satisfaction and performance, perceived organizational support and organizational cynicism, and which factors will mediate the relationship between life satisfaction and performance were discussed in the study. The findings obtained in the study support the findings of the researches on the subject. In order to improve organizational attitudes and behaviors positively, the results and advices of the study can be taken into consideration.
