Summary/Abstract: Interventions on the Transylvanian Architectural Heritage during 1974-1977. Case Study - Cetatea Aiudului. The interventions that the fortress from Aiud, Alba county, went through in the 70s, by the methods used there, summarize the specificity of the phenomenon observed in the practice of Transylvanian built heritage conservation, during the communist regime: the outset of archaeological and historical research, interventions of conservation in ruin state, rehabilitation and even reconstruction, but also illustrate the difficulty of taking to an end the conservation plan due to the dissolving in 1977 of the commission in charge of architectural monuments (DMI) and the severe consequences of this fact.
