Summary/Abstract: Purpose – Recently, Industry 4.0 is one of the issues that affect the business world and human resources management the most. Therefore, the purpose of this research is; is to determine the perceptions of business managers about Industry 4.0 and human resources management. Design/methodology/approach – Semi-structured interview method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. A questionnaire form was created after a large literature review for the research. This questionnaire form was filled in by meeting face to face with 11 (eleven) business managers. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed with the help of Nvivo 12 package program. Findings – On Industry 4.0 perceptions of business managers; It has been determined that they think there are both positive and negative aspects of Industry 4.0, they have some difficulties during the transition to Industry 4.0, some business owners think that their businesses are ready and implementing Industry 4.0, while others have problems with digitalization and hardware. Regarding human resources; Business managers have skill problems in blue-collar employees due to lack of training, they expect a decrease especially in the number of blue-collar employees with Industry 4.0, and white-collar employees will need emotional intelligence, robotic coding, foreign language and software skills, and blue-collar also It is important to be able to read projects and know technical knowledge, however for all employees; It has been determined that analytical thinking, teamwork skills, communication, problem solving, technological literacy, creativity and innovation skills will be very important. Discussion – As a result of the research, it can be said that business managers have a certain level of knowledge and awareness about the concept of Industry 4.0 and its effects on human resources. However, business managers need to see this change and transformation as an opportunity for their businesses and approach them proactively. There are a limited number of researches in our country in the field of Industry 4.0 and human resources. It is thought that the results of the research will contribute to both businesses and the literature.
