Summary/Abstract: The objective of the paper is to identify and precondition attitudes of consumers of different generations in purchasing process. On the grounds of literature studies and panel discussion with representatives of groups, the author will determine the types of behaviors that are distinctive for two generations of consumers: millennials and the silver generation. There will be conducted an analysis of consumer expectations at different ages with regard to the course of the purchasing process. Thereby, based on the outcome of the panel discussion, it will be investigated, how important shopping is for various generations, where they do it and what they are guided by. The author distinguished the behavior of millennials and silver generation in respect of selection of stores and brands they make.
