Summary/Abstract: This article presents some results of a research project which is still being developed and which concerns the teaching-learning process of Spanish and Galician as foreign languages for Polish university students. Its aim is to elaborate a corpus with the most common problems arising from this process and their possible solutions. In the article, the most common interferences from Spanish L2 in Galician L4 and their implications in classes are addressed. Through the analysis of written and oral productions from a group of Galician L4 students (with Spanish L2 and Portuguese L3) from the Faculty of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies at the University of Warsaw, the most important phonetic, lexical, morphological and syntactic interferences in Galician due to the Spanish influence will be determined. This analysis will allow us to formulate hypotheses about their causes and consequences, as well as the design of strategies, methodologies and didactic material that make their correction easier. This work aims to contribute, even if only partially, to the solution of this problem and, therefore, to facilitate the learning of Galician as a foreign language for Polish students.
