Summary/Abstract: Purpose – The aim of this study is; To investigate whether the management skills of school administrators in educational institutions affect the life satisfaction of school staff. With the research, the management skills of school administrators; It is aimed to propose scientific solutions to the problems encountered by analyzing how they affect the life satisfaction of the employees, to what extent, what these factors are, the relationship structure between demographic characteristics and life satisfaction levels, what may be the problems that prevent life satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach – In this study, the relational screening model was used. Relationships between two or more variables are generally revealed in relational survey studies. In this theoretical study, the inductive method was taken as basis and the relationships between the hypotheses determined within the framework of assumptions were analyzed. The study was carried out in order to investigate the effects of management skills of school administrators on the life satisfaction of employees in Private Primary Education institutions operating in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul. 1360 teachers working in 34 primary schools in Beylikdüzü constitute the universe of the research. 528 of these teachers were chosen by random sampling method. In order to analyze the data obtained from the surveys used for the research; Reliability, factor, data, correlation and regression analysis were applied. Results – As a result of the regression analysis for this study; taking responsibility, other skills and qualification skills do not affect life satisfaction; In addition, management skills and technical skills were found to affect satisfaction with life. Discussion – Teachers who are in contact with students all day in terms of their life satisfaction and who strive for their upbringing may experience intense stress and pressure. Teachers; They cannot improve themselves in terms of knowledge, professional competence and skills, and they may encounter situations that prevent them from increasing their life satisfaction. Therefore, it can be stated that there is a positive or negative relationship that affects the management skills of school administrators and the life satisfaction of teachers working in educational institutions. The good situation of teachers in terms of economic status, social status and management skills of school administrators can positively affect their life satisfaction. Other studies on the subject of this study are also discussed in Chapter 5; Teachers working in schools, staff; It should be taken into consideration that conducting scientific researches with different school employees in different regions, at different times, with different variables, in order to improve and develop their social and economic status, and to increase their satisfaction and success from the job can provide significant benefits to students, their parents, teachers and staff.
