Summary/Abstract: This article aims to reveal the effect of the narrations of the Hadīths by dishonest rāwīs, who lived between Hijri 2nd and 8th centuries and claimed to be from the descendants of companions or successors, in the history of the Hadīth through works of awālī genre. Since the main issue that these people lie about is their lifetimes, if they can find a place for themselves in the isnād system, it is expected that the effect of this will appear first in the narrations with short isnāds. On this occasion, after determining the effect of a long life on elevated isnād, the lives and claims of sixteen people who claim that they live well above an average human lifetime will be examined from the works of the type of biographical dictionaries. Later, the narrations of these narrators will be determined among twenty awālī genres copyrighted between hijri 5th and 9th centuries. In this way, it will be revealed how much people who say that they live long and imply that they have elevated isnads can have a place among such narrations.
