Summary/Abstract: The subject of the report is to review the main specifics concerning the recognition and enforcement of judgements in or about the insolvency proceedings between member-states of the European Union. The principle of automatic recognition will be examined, as well as the rules for dispute resolution about competence, and the grounds for non-recognition of judgements. Some of the more important case law will be given.
